Pet area make over

November 25, 2013

Here at Eurotunnel Le Shuttle we are such a pet friendly bunch we have given our four -legged friends their very own terminal facilities.

One of the best places to watch all of the animal antics of our furry passengers is at our pet exercise area. On a busy day you could mistake the area for Crufts – dogs of all shapes and sizes playing and socialising together. The more sprightly breeds tackle the weaving poles, jumps, hoops and tunnels of the agility course whilst the older dogs are happy to sniff around, make new friends or perhaps just have a snooze.

Pet Area Upgrade

This area has always been a real attraction for pet passengers and after its recent rebrand, now it looks the part too! We’ve also added a new footpath for owners, so you won’t get mucky whist talking a stroll with your dog.

It’s not only the pet area that’s had a makeover – our Calais pet reception now features our fabulous sausage dog and all of his furry friends. This cheeky new look is bound to put a smile on your face as you and your pet return from your European adventure.

Pet Area Building Upgrade

The introduction of the pet passport saw a massive rise is globetrotting pets and as the PETS passport changes, more and more of you are choosing to opt for a pet friendly holiday. Our pet team is busy working on more improvements to make travelling with pets even easier. So watch this space to find out what exciting changes will be rolled out in the coming months.

We have now shuttled over, a whopping, 1million happy pets through the tunnel and helped them on their way to a well-earned break.
