The procurement policy of the Group Eurotunnel aims to control costs and purchase the « real need » in respect of the current legislation (2004-17 Directive, ruling of 06/06/2005; 2005-13.08 decree of 20/10/2005).
Within the procurement process, the availability of effective contracts and analysis tools contribute to cost reduction.

Groupe Eurotunnel's procurement policy prioritises and encourages:
- Enhancement of the contractual process;
- Best selection of suppliers;
- Development of purchases through standardisation and the justification of needs.
The Procurement department wants its suppliers to become involved in optimising the performance of the company in a "win/win" relationship. These partnerships follow the environmental and sustainable development aims of the group.
