Whatever type of vehicle you drive you’ll find Eurotunnel offers a valuable service.
>> Car
Just load up your car with the kids, the dog, golf clubs and skis. In fact, pack in as much luggage as you can safely fit; there is no excess luggage charge.
>> Car higher than 1.85 metres
We allocate space in the single deck carriage for cars higher than 1.85 metres and coaches and caravans. The carriages are twice as high as the double deck carriages so there is ample room. There is no extra charge so feel free to bring bicycles, roof boxes etc. Just inform us when booking. Please note, the max weight laden for a van on our Passenger service is 3.5 tonnes. Book now- it couldn’t be easier.
Sport cars or low vehicles - Drive straight on and off our shuttles without worrying about ramps or bumps.
>> Caravans, campervans and trailers
To cater for your vehicle’s size we will allocate you space in our single deck carriages. They are twice as high as the double deck carriages and the entrances much wider so you can easily manoeuvre. During the crossing you stay with your vehicle.
Safety carrying fixed LPG tanks for domestic services - We are aware LPG tanks are essential for cooking, refrigeration, heating etc, but request the appliance is switched off before boarding and during the entire crossing. Tanks up to 47kg may be carried, but must be less than 80% full. For your own safety and the safety of others, you will need to demonstrate this before you travel.
If, like many caravan owners you prefer to travel outside peak periods. You will benefit from our new flexible fares structure. Our Eurotunnel European Breakdown cover also offers free insurance for your caravan or trailer.
Please note that campervans, trailers or caravans cannot travel on a FlexiPlus fare.
>> Motorcycle

For safety reasons, we board you at the rear of the shuttle. Don’t worry about the security of your belongings, or strapping during transit; you stay with your motorcycle throughout the entire journey.
