If you travelled with Eurotunnel Le Shuttle during the festive December period, you’ll be well aware of all the exciting Christmassy activities we had going on in both the Victor Hugo terminal in Folkestone, and the Charles Dickens terminal in Calais. We had visits from Father Christmas’s beautiful reindeer and some of his elves, who put on a whole host of fun activities such as letter writing to Father Christmas and decorating gingerbread men.
We had a special treat instore, however, for those of you lucky enough to be travelling on the 23rd of December. Father Christmas himself took time out of his busy Christmas schedule, and came down to our terminal to take a special ride on Le Shuttle and hand out chocolate coins to all the boys and girls.
One of Father Christmas’s top elf helpers, called Tinsel, also came along and helped him to hand out his chocolate coins, and spread Christmas cheer. All the boys and girls onboard Le Shuttle we absolutely delighted to meet Father Christmas on his surprise visit.
Both Father Christmas and Tinsel had an amazing time meeting all the boys and girls, working their way down the carriage, high-fiving the children as they passed. Father Christmas even got to meet a super cute dog on board Le Shuttle!
Everyone on board Le Shuttle had a blast, and it was the most magical start to Christmas for all the little boys and girls. It’s not every day that you get a surprise visit from Father Christmas, after all!
