Earlier this year, we entered our pet service in the prestigious Customer Experience Awards, an annual awards programme that celebrates the best of the best in customer service. Following all our hard work in 2015, we are absolutely delighted to be named the winners of not one, but two awards: Overall Best Customer Experience (the biggest award of them all!) and Automotive, Travel and Commercial Service Providers. What are the awards?

The Customer Experience Awards is the most comprehensive customer awards programme in the UK, awarding companies that have demonstrated a real dedication to a quality customer experience.

The awards were judged by 130 customer experience experts who each brought industry-specific knowledge from their field. Entrants were judged on a written application and a 15-minute presentation using a set of carefully selected criteria.

The winners were announced on September 25th at a formal awards ceremony, held at the spectacular Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, during which the judges offered live feedback reports. On the night, we were joined by our pet partners – Arden Grange, The Kennel Club, Pets Pajamas and Be Dog Friendly – as well as one of our loyal customers and her dog Zophia!

The awards

We were up against some tough competition in both award categories, including Virgin Money and AXA PPP Healthcare (Overall Best Customer Experience), and Green Flag and Ground Control Ltd (Automotive, Travel and Commercial Service Providers), so it was fantastic to win.

Both of these awards mean a great deal to us here at Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, as they show why we have so many repeat and new pet customers who choose to travel with us and believe we are 'pawesome'.
