Every year, we look forward to The France Show. This huge fair is
dedicated to showcasing the best of the best from across the channel, from
scrumptious cheeses to property for sale. The show has everything a Francophile
could ever want to see… including our very own Eurotunnel Le Shuttle stand. If
you weren’t able to make it, here’s what you missed.
Bonjour from Olympia London
The France Show was held at Olympia London,
between 29th and 31st January. With so much to see and do
at the show, we could have spent many more days exploring. Here are just a few
of the highlights:
- Chef Guy Wolley and Susy Atkins
(wine columnist for the Sunday Telegraph) cooked up a French dinner party
meal in just half an hour.
- Cancan dancers showed us their
- Pétanque (similar to
British bowls) games were held.
- Chef Christine Vidal showed us how to
cook some delicious dishes from the Provence region.
- An information session was heldon the Lacs et Gorges du Verdon
region (the Verdon Canyon, the Sainte Croix lake, the Haut-Var and Provence).
- Comedian Ian Moore gave a humorous
performance about living in the Loire Valley, where he has lived for many
years with his wife.
- Food vendors showcased the most
delicious French produce imaginable.

During the three-day show, we were lucky to meet many of our customers, as well as lots of new faces who stopped by to say hello.
It was great to meet to many customers and new faces.
Our incredible team answered lots of questions and shared plenty of handy tips for travelling with Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.
Our team members were on hand to answer any questions.
Visitors to our stand also had the chance to win a Frequent Traveller account and a Sanef motorway toll tag in our special prize draw. Congratulations to our winner, Mrs Janice Stephenson!
