Best year ever at Paws in the Park 2014

Paws in the Park is the UK’s biggest dog event – we didn’t think it would be possible to welcome even more visitors, find out what happened at this years event

After last year's success, we didn't think it possible to welcome even more visitors and their adorable dogs to our stand but 2014 has won 'paws down'.  What another fantastic year!

We were lucky enough to have our stand in the new Maidstone Exhibition Hall, not too far from a scrumptious cake stand. We welcomed our friends from Arden Grange and Woof&Brew and together gave out over 1,000 goodie bags which were gratefully received - lets just say there were lots of wagging tails!

This fun-filled two day event was packed full of things to see and do for both dogs and their owners. Special dog competitions included; Flyball, My Dogs Got Talent, Agility, Heelwork to Music and Aquazone - Dash 'N' Splash. Our personal highlight had to be when our very own special dog, Rover, took part in the agility; he did us proud and deserved his big round of 'apaws'.

It was great to meet so many of our customers and their beautiful dogs and hear all about their holiday adventures in France and right across Europe, we certainly have some very well travelled doggies.

We met many adorable dogs over the two days, and Dean simply melted our hearts.

Finally, a big congratulations to Mrs Moore and her dog Gucci for winning our fantastic prize draw. Not only a Short Stay Flexiplus ticket but also a year's supply of Arden Grange dog food, a Woof&Brew hamper and a year's subscription to Be Dog Friendly magazine.

We hope to see you all next year, and thank you to everyone who came over and said hello.

About the Author

I love travelling. France, Europe, the World! I’ve been to many countries around the World, but keep being drawn back to France. Just a quick trip under the Channel from our home in Folkestone, my family and I could easily spend every holiday there, from skiing, self catering gites and the odd daytrip or weekend break. I hope to share some of my stories and favourite places with our Eurotunnel Le Shuttle customers.
