Maison Adélia

La Maison Adélia

Grandma Adélia's traditional dishes re-invented...

Step into a French kitchen!

The Maison Adélia is located in the historic centre of Saint-Omer where the owners, Murielle and Laurent Berthélémy, are well known for welcoming you into the restaurant as if it were their home!

Chef Laurent prepares French dishes using only locally-sourced ingredients, inspired by his Grandma Adélia.

The painted furniture, curtains, tablecloths and other objects that adorn the restaurant, are all handmade by the chef's wife Murielle, who has an interior design business.

A word from the chef

“I love working with traditional and sometimes lesser known vegetables, playing with the colours and their flavours, marrying them with more exotic spices to invent new creations. So, when are you coming to have lunch with me at La Maison?”

Laurent Berthélémy

Booking is essential!

You will eat in a cosy kitchen and, like at home, there is not always enough space for everyone to sit round the table. La Maison Adélia only has 14 covers. Although a small place, large portions are served. Open Tuesday to Friday between 12.00 am and 14.00 pm.

However, Murielle and Laurent have another restaurant, La Maison at Fléchin, 40 minutes from Saint Omer, which is open on Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime. Minimum 6 covers. Set menu from €45. Booking is essential.
