This prize draw is operated by The Channel Tunnel Group Ltd with offices at UK Terminal, Ashford Road, Folkestone, Kent CT18 8XX (“Eurotunnel Le Shuttle”)

Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry to the prize draw. By accepting a raffle ticket, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

A. HOW TO ENTER

i. The prize draw runs at CarFest South.  The prize draw is available to those that visit the StarFest Stage at various sessions from Friday 27^th August to Sunday 29^th August 2021.

ii. A raffle ticket must be collected at the entrance to StarFest at the beginning of each session.

iii. There is a limit of one entry to each prize draw per person. There is no limit to the number of sessions you attend. If attending multiple sessions, a new raffle ticket must be collected. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Duplicate entries will not be counted.

iv. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle does not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause.

v. No purchase is necessary.

B. ELIGIBILITY

i. The prize draw  is open to residents in the UK, aged 18 years or over, except employees of Eurotunnel Le Shuttle their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition.

ii. All winners must collect their prize on the day of being selected, to which they must claim their prize after the StarFest session is finished.

iii. By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle may require you to provide proof of your identity and that you are eligible to enter the prize draw – you agree to cooperate with such enquiries.

C. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

i. Winners will be selected at random at a qualifying StarFest session. The winner will be chosen at random at the sessions to which the winner must make themselves known to a member of the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle Team at the event in order to claim their prize.

ii. If a winner does not respond to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle on the day the winner is announced, then the winner's prize will be forfeited.

iii. The decision of Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

D. THE PRIZES

i. The prize is 1x Day/Overnight Eurotunnel Le Shuttle ticket.

ii.  The Day/Overnight ticket is for a car and up to 9 passengers.  This ticket is part of a 2 day return.  Return must be completed by midnight (local time) on the second calender day.  All travelling dates and times are subject to availability and must be booked in advance of travel. Ticket must be booked within one year from issue.

iii. The winner is responsible for arranging their own vehicle for Eurotunnel Le Shuttle travel. Eurotunnel’s standard terms and conditions of carriage apply. These are available at www.eurotunnel.com/uk/conditions-of-carriage

iv. The prize does not include travel insurance, fuel, toll charges, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above, and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize, are the responsibility of the winner.

v. The winner will be responsible for ensuring that they (and any people travelling with them) are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents (including vaccination certificates or valid negative COVID-19 tests if required), provide Advance Passenger Information (API) and has appropriate travel insurance and car insurance (including motor breakdown cover) for the trip in question on the travel dates specified.

vi. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle offers the prize in association with a partner provider. Such partner has their own terms and conditions which apply to the prize. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is not responsible for any loss, claim or expense arising from a partner offer.

vii. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.  The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

viii. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

E. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

i. After being chosen at random you will need to collect your prize.  You must see a member of the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle team immediately after the StarFest session you attend.   The winner will need to provide their details to a member of staff to claim the prize.

ii. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

iii. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle does not accept any responsibility if you are not able or are not eligible to take up the prize. No alternative prize will be available.

F. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Insofar as is permitted by law, Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, its agents and/or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

G. OWNERSHIP

i. All prize draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle will become the property of Eurotunnel Le Shuttle on receipt and will not be returned.

ii. You agree that Eurotunnel Le Shuttle may make your entry and accompanying materials available on its website www.eurotunnel.com and any other social media platform in connection with any publicity of the prize draw. You agree to grant Eurotunnel Le Shuttle a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights, in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sublicence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.

H. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

i. By entering the competition, you agree that any personal data supplied to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle in connection with the prize draw (including your name and contact details) may be used by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, its partners and/or any third party suppliers (as applicable) in connection with the administration of the competition. ii. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle may publish your name on the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle website at www.eurotunnel.com. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.

iii. The winner may be asked for feedback about their Eurotunnel Le Shuttle experience – such feedback may be used by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle for marketing purposes.

i. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions Eurotunnel Le Shuttle may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the competition, to withdraw the prize or to require you to return the prize if already received.

ii. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

iii. If a provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, that part shall not affect the validity of the other provisions in these terms and conditions and shall be severed from those provisions.

iv. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry to the competition. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

i. The competition runs from 12:00 13^th October 2021 to 23.59 on 19^th October 2021.

ii. All competition entries must be received by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle by no later than 23.59 on 19^th October 2021.

iii. To enter the prize draw the entrant must post a comment their favourite sea creature emoji to our Facebook (published to Facebook page Eurotunnel Le Shuttle) or Instagram post (published to Instagram profile @leshuttle), which will be published at 12:00 on 13^th October promoting the competition.

iv. There is a limit of one entry to each prize draw per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Duplicate entries will not be counted.

v. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle does not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause.

iv. By entering the competition you confirm that your entry form and any accompanying materials and submissions:

- do not contain any material which is defamatory of any person or which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;

- do not promote sexually explicit material, violence or any illegal activity;

- do not promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;

- do not infringe any rights of any other person;

 - are not likely to deceive any person;

- are not made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;

- are not threatening, abusive or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;

- are not likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;

- are not used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;

- do not give the impression that they emanate from Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, if this is not the case; or

- do not advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright or trade mark infringement or computer misuse.

v. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition or if (in Eurotunnel Le Shuttle’s opinion) you are in breach of these terms and conditions. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle reserves the right to contact the relevant authorities to report any inappropriate content you submit in connection with the competition or otherwise.

C. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

i. 2x winners will be selected at random from all valid submissions. The winners will be notified by a reply to their comment on the social media post they entered the competition through, on either the Facebook or Instagram platform, and must respond to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle within 1 day of being notified they have won (“Acknowledgement”) in order to claim their prize. One winner will be selected from each platform.

ii. If a winner does not respond to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle within 2 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Eurotunnel Le Shuttle will be entitled to select another winner at random.

iii. The decision of Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

D. THE PRIZES

i. Each winner will receive 5x entry tickets to Nausicaá, the biggest aquarium in Europe, and 1x Eurotunnel Le Shuttle Day Trip/Overnight ticket.

ii. All prizes are subject to availability.

iii. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

i. After receiving notification by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, as a reply to the entrant’s comment on Facebook or Instagram, the winner will need to respond to the message with their details to claim the prize.

ii. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

iii. Eurotunnel Le Shuttle does not accept any responsibility if you are not able or are not eligible to take up the prize. No alternative prize or tour date will be available.
