On certain dates throughout the year our service can be busier than normal. During these peak periods any complications with your vehicle or booking can have a large impact for yourself and other customers.
Here are 4 things you can do to prepare for travel on these peak dates.
If you didn't indicate this at the time of booking you must call our Contact Centre on 08443 35 35 35* to check whether we're able to allocate the correct space on your reserved crossing.
Whilst we work closely with the Border Authorities in the UK and France, we are not responsible for their controls and checks. For a speedy and smooth flow: Have all passports/ID cards to hand, removed from wallets and open at photo page from check-in until you are onboard the train.
Plan to check-in at least 30 minutes but no more than 2 hours before your booked departure time. If it's a busy day, it's unlikely we'll be able to accommodate you on an earlier or later depature.
Display your travel hanger at all times, from check-in to disembarkation at your destination.
