Pets and their owners enjoyed a party atmosphere when they travelled from Calais to Folkestone on 6th May, the 20th birthday of the inauguration of our service.
Our friends from Arden Grange greeted pets and their owners at the Pet Reception on the Charles Dickens terminal with complimentary yummy dog and cat treats.

In keeping with our 20th birthday theme, Product Manager, Catherine Lhomel surprised and delighted Mr and Mrs Callear from Mancot, Flintshire with a complimentary Short Stay Saver ticket including free travel for Jock, their adorable 7 month old Scottish Terrier. Jock was also treated to a year's supply of Arden Grange dog food – whose a lucky boy!
The Callear family were on their way back from a 2 month winter stay in Spain and this was Jocks first time on-board one of our shuttles.

'Today has been a wonderful day for both staff, pets and their owners explained Catherine. The Pet Reception building is the perfect place to meet and greet our pet customers as every cat, dog and ferret entering the UK must first visit here to have their pet passport and microchip checked. It's been great watching Jock make new friends and tire himself out in our extended pet exercise area, I think he will be fast asleep in the back seat of the car for the short crossing over'.
