Travel from the UK to France:
Our passenger shuttle services continue to operate. Please check carefully before travelling to Folkestone, as you may be turned away by the French Authorities if you don't have a completed attestation stating one of the following reasons to enter the country:

  • French nationals (with spouse / children)
  • Going home to a main residence
  • Essential work in France
  • Medical staff
  • Visiting / transporting your own children


All travellers to France are required to complete an Attestation de déplacement international PRIOR to travel. Click here to find it. Alternatively this document can now be completed here and presented digitally on your phone so you don't need a printer.

Travel from France to the UK:
Please make sure you are aware of the latest public health and quarantine measures in place in the United Kingdom at present. Everyone entering the UK from the 8th of June must complete a form BEFORE they travel.

Please go to for more information and to find the online form. It is important that you carry a copy of the completed form – either digitally or printed out – when you travel in case you’re asked about it.

Our passenger shuttle services continue to operate but the shops and cafés in our terminal building in France have had to close due to new French regulations.

Terminal Buildings and Shuttles:
In line with regulations our terminal buildings have now had to close. There are toilet facilities available in the allocation lanes - please use them as the toilets on the shuttles are now closed. Customers are required not to leave their cars whilst onboard the shuttles to comply with "social distancing" advice from both Governments.

Our usual, flexible conditions apply. Most ticket types have a full year from date of original purchase to be used, as long as amended before the day of your booked travel and there are no admin fees for changing dates. Our Flexiplus tickets are fully refundable.Travel to be completed within 1 calendar year of the date of original purchase.

    Standard Tickets

    You can amend your booking for free up to 24 hours before your departure time, if you’re travelling in the same direction and we have space available (you will have to pay the difference if the new ticket is more expensive, but there will be no amendment fees). You can amend your booking here: My Eurotunnel. Most ticket types have a full year from date of original purchase to be used. If the current circumstances mean you need more time than our T&Cs provide to use your ticket, please contact us and we’ll try and arrange it.

    Flexiplus Tickets

    As well as being amendable our Flexiplus tickets are fully refundable too. Travel to be completed within one calendar year of the date of original purchase.

    Frequent Traveller Tickets

    We are arranging for all Frequent Traveller tickets to have their validity increased by 12 months, to ensure you have plenty of time to use them. You do not need to contact us – you will see this on your account in the next few weeks.

    Travel Insurance

    If you took out travel insurance through us, and would rather have a refund than amend your booking, please call us within two weeks of your booking, to arrange it. If your travel insurance is with another provider, and you would prefer a refund, please contact them to make a claim.

    Bookings made with Tesco or other discount vouchers

    If you have purchased a ticket in full or part using a Tesco or other discount voucher, please contact us by phone to amend your booking.

  • Eurotunnel has implemented additional cleaning procedures. Automatic hand sanitisers have been installed in passenger areas in both the UK and France, toilet facilities are being cleaned and checked for supplies more frequently, and all cleaning regimes have been increased on the terminals, and onboard the shuttles.

  • We continue to carefully monitor official Government advice here in the UK and France. Currently we continue to operate our services as normal.

  • We recommend that customers continue to carefully follow the official advice given. Useful advice can be found on the World Health Organisation’s website.

  • If you have been advised to self-isolate and have a booking that falls within the dates of your isolation period, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist with exchanging your booking for a future date within the validity of your ticket.  If you have booked on-line you can amend your booking here: My Eurotunnel
