COVID-19 : 🇬🇧 Information & advice | 🇫🇷 Informations et conseils

We are open with shuttles travelling regularly

Our phone lines and live chat are extremely busy at the moment. We have brought in extra staff to help our customers with their queries. If you have questions regarding possible future changes to travel through and to France or the rest of Europe; Please do not call our Contact Centre, or contact us by email. We are unable to offer any advice or information other than what is available from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. See here for more information. Don't forget that you can make and amend most bookings online using My Eurotunnel.

Refundable tickets:
If you have purchased a ticket that allows cancellations such as a “Standard Refundable” ticket, Frequent Traveller or Flexiplus ticket, please complete this form to submit a cancellation request.

Non-refundable tickets:
Most tickets can be amended online by clicking here. You can amend multiple times without amendment fees, but there may be a difference in price to pay. If you are unable to amend your ticket online, please don’t worry if you can’t get through to us on the phone. As our phone lines are so busy, for travel due between the 7th and 27th August we are extending the period during which you can amend your booking for an additional 10 days after your travel date so you won’t lose the value of your ticket(s).

FAQs relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

Information & advice

Travel from France to the UK

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you are aware of the latest public health and quarantine measures in place in the United Kingdom at present. Everyone entering the UK must complete a form BEFORE they travel whether they are required to quarantine or not. Quarantine rules vary depending on which countries you have travelled to or through before arriving into the UK.

You are not allowed to cross unless you have completed the online form available here: It is important that you have the registration number provided after completion of the form with you when you arrive at our terminal in France.

Our understanding of the UK Government’s position is that if you drive through a country that is not on the list for quarantine exemption (e.g. Belgium) on your way to the UK, without getting out of your car, or allowing anyone to enter your car, then there is no additional need to self-isolate on your entry to the UK. You must check the status of all the countries you have visited, in which you have got out of your car.

Travel from the UK to France

It is now permitted for anyone without symptoms of Covid-19 to travel from the UK to France. Click here for more information.
